Absolutely loved this beautiful resort in Ban Krut. Well maintained with a tropical vibe, and the staff are truly exceptional. Warm, welcoming and everyone went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Stayed in a Deluxe Villa with Garden View. The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable (including the bed), and with all the amenities needed. Pool was stunning and we loved the balconies outside the individual villas. Spent hours just chilling out and relaxing. It’s a tropical environment so make sure you have repellent if you’re prone to mosquitoes. Other reviews complained about the flies, but seriously, the staff work very hard to keep the resort clean so it’s nothing to do with the cleanliness of the resort, it’s just part of being in a warm climate - and it happens everywhere. Don’t let it stop you staying. We’re definitely happy we came here. Located opposite Baan Grood beach (where you’ll find lots of dining options on the beach - especially if you love fresh seafood), in Ban Krut (a beautiful little town tucked away on a gorgeous coastline), we would love to keep it a secret, but that wouldn’t be fair to the outstanding staff who make this resort as good as it is. Cannot fault our stay at Baan Grood Arcadia and we look forward to returning!!

I was here 9 years ago for the first time. I was happy to see how well maintained the hotel is and it managed to meet the high expectations I had. The villas are in very good condition, the garden is well kept and the pool area is great. We had lunch a couple of times at Cafe De Wa and the vegetarian (thai food) options were absolutely delicious. One of the most delicious dishes we had during our trip (green curry with tofu, vegetariaon tom yum). Ban Krut itself is a beautiful beachside town with plentiful amazing and well-priced restaurants. The hotel is perfectly located near all the services. The beach In front of the hotel is incredible. I wish we had stayed here for a few more nights. The breakfast options were somewhat limited in western standards (for example, there was no cheese and only two types of toast). The hotel could, for example, cooperate more with local entrepreneurs since there was a bakery called The Sea Pine, just a couple of hundred meters from the hotel.

A nice hotel in a central location with a large number of restaurants within a walking distance. Our room was a bit old, but then again the hotel was very inexpensive. The beach is as secluded and nice as one would expect. Very few tourists or locals and 10+ km to choose from. The local thai dishes with fresh seafood were excellent as well. If you're looking to spend time at the pool, do try to book one of the few cabins next to the pool. If not, the ones a bit away are better. The hotel cafe was excellent and served good coffee from morning to night.

Great location with a lovely pool..plenty of sunbeds, parasols available all day..beach across the road.. very comfortable room and we stayed in the block of rooms at the back...would have happily stayed longer...spent 2 weeks in ban krut area at different hotels and this is by far the best value for money..not much to do apart from relax and unwind.. a bit of a sleepy town a few long term retired residents but mainly Thai tourists families and couples...good food available all around..be prepared to just chill

The pool was great. The Wi-Fi was superb. The room was nicely done and clean. The staff was humble and helpful. The breakfast was generous. Too bad it rained heavily for more than 2 hours right after we settled so we didn't have a chance to enjoy the beach. The late morning sun was too strong, though.
